The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has approved all PESTED.COM courses for recertification.  NYS is unique in that it requires a 30-Hour Eligibility Course before an inexperienced person can sit for an exam and become licensed.  We have the only NYSDEC approved 30-HOUR Eligibility Course available in a Distance Learning Format Compact Disk.  We offer these courses in the categories of Ornamental and Turf Industries (3A), Structural and Rodent (7A), Termite Control (7C), Food Processing (7F), Cooling Towers (7G) and Anti-Fouling Paints (5D & New Category 13).

Additionally, we offer category specific recertification in 2, 4 HOUR and 12 HOUR segments for applicators already licensed.  It is important to note that if you are a Technician in NYS you can become a Certified Pesticide Applicator with one year of experience and by taking one of our 12-HOUR category specific courses.  We also have the complete 8-Hour Apprentice Core Training which includes a Field Training Calendar for the On-The-Job portion of Apprentice Training.

NOTE:  If you are already a Certified Pesticide Applicator, and want to add additional categories, you can take our 12-HOUR Distance Learning CD at your convenience and this makes you eligible to sit for the NYSDEC exam in that category.
