This course is designed to allow Commercial and Public Applicators in the District of Columbia to earn 8 Recertification Hours in Category 7A: INDUSTRIAL, INSTITUTIONAL, STRUCTURAL AND HEALTH RELATED PEST CONTROL: GENERAL PEST CONTROL and 7E: Rodent Control. 

Topics covered include cockroaches, stored product pests, flies, bedbugs, ants, and rodents.

This course has been designed in a Distance Learning format and approved by the District Department of the Environment as a recertification course. NOTE: As per the DDE, you cannot repeat a Distance Learning course in a recertification cycle. If you are not sure if you have taken this course, please call PESTED and we will check your account history. It is an online course. True/False quizzes are given at the end of each section to enhance the student’s learning. This course is narrated and self-paced.

Students will be able to print their certificate after sending their completion e-mail at the end of the course. Students will be able to print their certificates up until December 31st. If you need a certificate for courses taken in a previous cycle please call or e-mail us. If we do not receive the completion e-mail after course completion your credits will not be reported to the state.
