4 HOURS: ORNAMENTAL AND TURF INSECT CONTROL

Description

This course is designed to allow Massachusetts Commercial Applicators who are already certified to earn 4 Recertification credits in Category 36: SHADE TREES AND ORNAMENTAL, Category 37: TURF, CORE, or DEALER.

Topics covered include worker protection standard, integrated pest management, injury to plants, insects and arthropods, diseases, weeds, and others.

This course has been designed in a Distance Learning format and approved by the MDAR as a recertification course. NOTE: The MDAR allows you to receive up to 50% of your total credits in a distance learning format each recertification cycle. Additionally, you cannot repeat the same course within a 12 month period. PESTED updates its courses annually. True/False quizzes are given at the end of each section to enhance the student’s learning. This course is narrated and self-paced, with high quality images of insect and animal species as well as equipment.

Students will be able to print their certificate after sending their completion e-mail at the end of the course. Students will be able to print their certificates up until December 31st. If you need a certificate for courses taken in a previous cycle please call or e-mail us. If we do not receive the completion e-mail after course completion your credits will not be reported to the state.
