This course is approved by the Maryland Department of Agriculture and covers the CORE (Pesticide Use and Safety) section of the state exam as well as the 1A: Agricultural Plant section of the Exam. Completion of this course will enable students to sit for the CORE and 1A: Agricultural Plant Control Certification Exams. After purchasing this course, a link will automatically be sent to your email and you can start immediately. The course is split up into 3 sections, all of which need to be completed before a certificate can be mailed out. THIS COURSE IS NOT FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS.

This course has been designed in a Distance Learning format and approved by the MDA. NOTE: This course is online. All that is required is an internet connection and an email address. Quizzes are given at the end of each section to enhance the student’s learning. This course is narrated and self-paced, with high quality images of insect and animal species as well as equipment.
