This course is designed to allow a New York Commercial Applicator who is already certified in Category 7A/7F: Structural and Rodents & Food Processing to earn 12 Recertification Credits (Full Recertification).

This package will earn the student 6 Recertification Credits in Category 7A/7F as well as 6 Core Recertification Credits. All courses are approved by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.

This package covers the following 7A/7F material: Occasional Invaders, Weeds, Birds, Bats, Bifenthrin, Deltamethrin, Structural IGRs, and Spider Biology, Bait Block Rodenticide, Bulk Pellet Rodenticide, Difethialone Soft Bait, Bomadiolone Soft Bait, Chlorophacinone Tracking Powder, Bromethalin Soft Bait, and Rodents.

This package covers the following Core material: PPE, Symptoms of Poisoning, First Aid, IPM, Pests, Types of Pesticides, The Label, Formulations, Filling and Mixing, Equipment, Weather-wise Applications, Disposal, Storage, Record keeping and Liability, Crop Hazards, and Protecting Water.

This course has been designed in a Distance Learning format and approved by the NYSDEC as a recertification course. NOTE: As per the NYSDEC, you cannot repeat a Distance Learning course in a recertification cycle. The student MUST complete a course within 6 MONTHS from the day they started the course. Additionally, you can spend no more than 7 hours per day taking recertification courses. PESTED updates our courses annually.
