Description

This course is designed to assist California Pest Professionals to sit for and pass their state initial licensing exam to add Category Q: Maintenance Gardener Pest Control to either their Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) or as a Sub-Category to their Qualified Applicator License (QAL) if they are currently licensed in Category B: Landscape Maintenance Pest Control. This online course covers material related to MAINTENANCE GARDENER PEST CONTROL. It is self-paced, and narrated with high quality images of insects, animal species, and equipment. It is approximately 23 hours long, and is a self-paced tool to prepare students for their California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) exam.

Once you have completed this course and are ready to take your QAC/QAL exam you must reach out to the California DPR to schedule your DPR Licensing Exam. Exam applications are available on the DPR’s Website here. You may also schedule an exam by calling the DPR Licensing department at 916-445-4038. Please keep in mind that you must file your application with DPR at least 30 days prior to the testing date you’d like to apply for.
